The final parkrun of 2019 took place on Saturday 28th December, the rather damp, foggy, snowy conditions did little to deter the 39 people that joined us to run, jog or walk the course, of whom 16 were first timers and 2 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part. The event was made possible by 9 volunteers: Stuart GREIG • Mark WHITE • Patrick Pulido ULVANG • Odd GANGÅS • Thomas GREIG • Min GREIG • Linn Jenssen ACKLAM • Beverley J. H. GRYTING • Annie EYRE New Years Day parkrun was the 100th event, we were met with pleasant conditions, but solid ice is still present around the back of the barnehage and on up the hill so we continued with the alternate course. We were very lucky that in the absence of an open café Cristina had baked cakes doughnuts, buns and pepperkake for our fantastic volunteers and the parkrunners that joined us.
New Years Day 52 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 12 were first timers and 5 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.
