Today was the first day we have seen ice on the puddles on Parkrun Tøyen this autumn, but the course was quite runnable, and we look forward to muddy hill being frozen (but not icy) later in the winter.
This week 102 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 30 were first timers and 19 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part, and a lovely lady visitor, Catherine BIRCH, from the UK tailwalked for us. We also celebrated a milestone of 50 Parkruns, congratulations to Daniel Pulido ULVANG, and thank you for lovely cake.
We had visitors from at least Sweden, UK, Ireland and Australia, and had a lovely time at the cafe afterwards. It is really nice to see that we often are around a hundred persons running Parkrun, but still please bring a friend next time, we really love newcomers. We know that both Parkrun Østensjø and Fornebu is in the planning for spring, so follow them on Facebook for more information.
