It was a white Christmas parkrun in Tøyenpark this Saturday and everyone made a fantastic effort to get into the festive spirit. There were plenty of nisseluer, Stuart Grieg and Geir Arne Erikstad were in full nisse outfits, Erling Mork, Mark White and Helen Rist were with Team Rudolph, Julie Lydall supplied the Christmas puddings and Sarah McSeveny-Åril had classic Christmas tunes playing from her children’s pram as she raced round the course.
In total 44 people ran, jogged and walked the course. It was great to welcome 13 new parkrunners,9 of whom are registered with Tøyen, and we hope to see you all again soon. Despite the snowy conditions both Leo Moe and Lars Sigurd Vedø achieved new Personal Bests.
After the run everyone enjoyed a warming cup of gløgg, pepperkake and homemade English mince pies.
The event was made possible by 6 volunteers:
Julie LYDALL • Laura BAKKER • Runar SAETHER • Mark WHITE • Axel WALØ • Nils ØKSNEVAD
