After last week's sunny parkrun, a few parkrunners were relieved to have what one called "ideal PB-weather", or cloudy and cool weather, this week in Nansenparken.
50 people joined us this week, with many gorgeous smiles and hands in the air for the camera.
We had 14 first timers join us this Saturday. No matter the number of first timers, it is always a joy to meet new people at parkrun!
In this "PB-weather", 16 people recorded new Personal Bests!
A family of tourists from England joined us this Saturday, how lovely to have such nice visitors!
Congratulations to Anna-Kari, who participated at her 50th parkrun this week as our tailwalker! A true Nansenparken parkrun regular, she has done 47 of her 50 parkruns at Nansenparken, and has also become a regular tailwalker for us. Well done, Anna-Kari!
Another true Nansenparken parkrun regular, Sigrid, ran her 50th parkrun this week! She has ran 48 of her 50 parkruns in Nansenparken, as well as volunteering for us several times. Congratulations, Sigrid!
We must also wish a happy birthday to Cornelia, Sigrid's daughter, who spent the morning of her 15th birthday at Nansenparken parkrun. Now that's dedication!
Thank you so much to this week's wonderful team of volunteers! They did their jobs expertly, all while cheering on our participants. The event was made possible by 9 fantastic volunteers:
Suzette LI • Kevin Ching Wei LI • Paola NÆRUM • Elizabeth ACKLAM • Linn Jenssen ACKLAM • Ada Jenssen ACKLAM • Anna-Kari HEGGEBAKKEN • Benedict NÆRUM • Victoria NÆRUM
