A whopping 73 people joined us in Nansenparken for this week's event. That is our second highest attendance number, and what a beautiful day to have so many wonderful people join us!
We were so happy to welcome 25 new people who came to run, jog, or walk at Nansenparken parkrun this week - and 15 of them have never done a parkrun before!
We must also congratulate the 17 people who achieved a new PB for this weeks event. Well done!
We also had tourists from both New Zealand and Poland visit our parkrun for the first time.
It was extra exciting to have many new people join us after being inspired by running Fornebuløpet (the local 3K, 5K, and 10K race). Doing parkrun is a great way to keep up the motivation between the yearly race!
We were also a good group who joined at the cafe after parkrun for some "parkfaffing" and a "post-parkrun brew". It is so nice to get to know one another outside of parkrun as well.
A big thank you to the 9 volunteers who made this event possible:
Stian BRUBAKKEN • Elizabeth ACKLAM • Linn Jenssen ACKLAM • Ada Jenssen ACKLAM • Erik Jenssen ACKLAM • Anna-Kari HEGGEBAKKEN • Stine SZYMANEK • Edward Wiksnes ACKLAM • Theodore Wiksnes ACKLAM
