The ice has finally gone from the course, and the flood that caused last week's cancellation has finally retreated. We are hoping that this means that spring is finally arriving in Nansenparken!

It is so lovely to see all the new and familiar faces come together and enjoy the parkrun, all at their own speed. That is really what parkrun is all about!

Nansenparken parkrun #59

It was a windy morning, with -3 degrees and beautiful sunshine, yet a whopping 73 parkrunners finished Nansenparken parkrun this week! That is our second highest attendance number ever.

The numbers were of course influenced by the cancellation of Tøyen and winterclosed Ekebergsletta. Quite a few tourists came to visit, which gave us 20 first timers in Nansenparken, and 2 of the first timers did their first ever parkrun.

Despite a few slippery areas and instructions to be careful and not to aim for a PB, 9 of our parkrunners recorded PBs on this event.
