On an overcast but humid August morning, we had 50 parkrunners joining us for todays event. While we didn't have any tourists this week, we still had 11 fabulous newcomers who had never done parkrun before and with a large group of friends and family cheering by the course, we hope that all of you had a brilliant parkrunning day!
It was wonderful to see parkrunners of all ages joining us today, and it is fun to see how many of our newest parkrunners are young juniors who are enjoing parkrun with their family.
A huge congratulations to Michael who reached his first milestone of 25 parkruns today, of which all except one has been done in Nansenparken. A true regular and a cheerful and eager volunteer, a lovely contribution to our parkrun!
This week 50 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 11 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 3 different clubs took part.
