Cold temperatures greeted Løvstien parkrun this morning on our eleventh and first festive parkrun.
Fourteen runners took part in the timed 5k and incredibly the first four places were first timers to our parkrun. Male and female first finishers was a family affair by Markus Enes Heggoy and sibling Martine Enes Heggoy, improving on her previous time by 32 seconds for a personnel best.
Two other runners saw personnel bests today and we also welcomed Stein Tore Viken new to parkrun, we hope to see you again soon.
Thank you to everyone who took part in cold but dry conditions, with today’s event made possible by our volunteers. Regular runner Wenche Gjesdal was joined by her family today with her husband and son placing 2nd and 3rd and her daughter as Tail Walker, thank you.
This week 14 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 6 were first timers and 3 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 2 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by 5 volunteers:
