It was great to see all those smiling faces, veterans and first-timers alike at event #28.

It was an slightly overcast morning, but perfect running conditions, a little cool to start and still. Another fantastic attendance for Event #28, with 82 participants, with 26 First Timers and a whopping 23 new PBs, and 2 Kiwi parkrun tourists (New Zealanders) visiting us this week, a very long way from home, but thoroughly enjoying the event.

Parkrun start

Sharon BOWMAN • Laura BAKKER • Runar SAETHER • Erin KELLY • Cristina Pulido ULVANG • Stuart GREIG • Mark WHITE • Axel WALØ

In total 52 people ran, jogged and walked the course, and it was great to see that 22 of those were first timers – we hope to see you again next week. We also welcomed overseas visitors from Poland and various parts of the UK. The ideal running conditions resulted in 10 new Personal Bests.
